Our House, Room by Room: Final Photos of the Table

Welcome!

We bought this house back in 2007. It is a VERY spacious 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath house. It was built back in 76 and still has most of the original fixtures and hardware. We did have to replace a lot of the equipment right away like the hot water heater, dishwasher, garbage disposal, the heat pump and repair the furnace, but hey, we knew home ownership was hard work right?!

After floundering for 2 years attempting to fix up everything at once and accompishing nothing, I decided to try a different approach. I am now doing it one room at a time. It will take time since I don't have a lot of money each month to put into it and with 2 kids (ages 7 and 4) time is scarce at best. But as long as they nap and go to bed at night, I will find time here and there to work on the house!

My newest goal is to replace all the furniture in the house with furniture I have built. So far we have a dining room table, chairs, homework table, benches, dollhouse, castle playhouse, wall entertainment unit and one of the kid's beds done. I would just love to have my home completely home built!
